Cost-Benefit Analysis

Here’s an example of why hiring a scopist is good for you!  In this scenario, the transcript is due in two days.  Shout out to Linda Evanson of Internet Scoping School for putting together this informative guide!

DAY 1

200 pages at $5.00 per page (+$1,000.00).

Pays scopist $2.00 per page (-$400).

Reporter A takes home $600.00.

200 pages at $5.00 per page (+$1,000.00).

Reporter B takes home $1,000.00.

DAY 2

200 pages at $5.00 per page (+$1,000.00).

Pays scopist $2.00 per page (-$400).

Reporter A takes home $600.00.

Takes themselves off the books to edit their transcript themselves.

Reporter B takes home $0.00.

Final outcome:

After just two days, Reporter A earns $1,200.00 with an $800.00 tax deduction!

Reporter B earns $1,000.00. That’s certainly good money, but if Reporter B had used a scopist like one of the many wonderful scopists trained at ISS, they would have been able to earn more money or simply have more time off to enjoy their life!

I hope you found this guide informative, and I do look forward to helping you make these kinds of gains with your income and your time.

Happy reporting and thanks for stopping by!
